This is “No Bullshiting,” by Harry Agina.

Greetings, folks!

On June 13, 2020, I blogged a poll with the question: Is Sadiya Umar Farouq A Liar? That was after Nigeria’s Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq, claimed that she had paid covid-19 financial palliative to 95 percent of all Igbo people of Nigeria who are in Nigeria. Her claim sounded very impossi-can’t to me; but, the fair “No Bullshitting” thing to do was to conduct a poll; so, I did. Here is a link to that blog: https://nobullshiting.com/no-bullshitting-poll-is-buharis-humanitarian-minister-sadiya-umar-farouk-a-liar-a-crook-or-just-very-stupid/

The poll was informal, but the scope was definitely wide, with fair and reasonable numeric representation. Besides my personal Facebook page and Media Against Indiscipline group, the poll was narrowed to Igbo people. It posted on several totally or predominantly-Igbo Social Media platforms on the Web, Facebook, and WhatsApp, including: Ndi Nnewi North/South, Igbo Bu Igbo, Igboist, Igboville, Anambra Interactive Forum, Anambra Online Publishers, Oganiru Nnewi, Igbo Ranthq, Anambra Cares Foundation, Ndi Anambra Unity Forum, Ndi Anambra Forum, Apga Interactive Forum, Ebonnyi Interactive Forum, and more. The aggregate recorded membership of the groups that I broadcast to is well over five million Igbo people, not counting the domino-effect of “shares” by some members. The first three groups named above alone (with 588K, 573K, and 340K, respectively), have close to two million Igbos.

Today is June 27, 2020, exactly 14 days after my poll was posted. the mid-term jury is out, and, the verdict is totally unanimous…hundred percent. Nigeria’s Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq is a huge liar, if indeed she claimed that she has paid 95 percent of igbo people of Nigeria covid-19 financial palliative. Mind you, Harry Agina didn’t say those words; the jury of the people that Farouq claimed to have paid said: “no fucking way”…unanimously!!! Not a single respondent said that he or she has received even a broken kobo from Madam Farouq. So, like in the School Feeding program where Farouq SEEMS to be feeding ghosts, she also seems to have paid her financial palliative to some ghosts in Igbo land, meeeeeeeen!!!

My respondents responded with a barrage of curses & condemnation heaped upon Madam Farouq. Some of the curses are too horrendous to print here. I repeat that, several Igbos have responded on various forums, and, not even one said that he or she received a dime from madam Farouq. The poll also asked/asks the respondents if they know of any family members or friends that received Farouq’s money; the 100% response is, “no.” No amount of APC’s regular caustic abracadabra rhetoric can fix the kind of “huge liar” name that my jury called Madam Farouq, meeeen!!!

If I was donning my full “No Bullshitting” cloak now, I would simply categorize Farouq with APC’s chronic Fake News creator, Lauretta Onochie. But, I am presently, momentarily, in Harry Agina nice mood. I guess you can say that I kind-of like Madam Farouq a little, because, unlike the caustic propagandist Madam Fake News Onochie, Farouq wears an innocent demeanor; though she may turn out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. In any case, I have prevailed on the “No Bullshitting” alter ego to pipe down one notch, for now, until the final jury report is out. But, the fact still remains that, in several poll communities of over five million people, all the respondents so far, cursed Madam Farouq and called her an evil liar. I do dare the madam to sue me to court for character defamation based on this poll report.

However, for further fairness, I call this a “mid-term” (maybe even quarter-term) jury report. You know how it is with the Facebook post rotational system, for instance; votes may still be coming in several months ahead, depending on when more Igbos get to see the poll. Who knows, maybe the next update-report will have some recipients of Farouq’s money.

Meanwhile, if we go by the law of average, Farouq is already a liar, having got zero vote out of the respondents that we have so far. Her only escape route is to start disbursing funds to Igbos in large numbers now, and try to catch up with the 95 percent that she already claimed. But, the way I see Naija schemes right now, this seems very impossi-can’t!!! It would be the miracle of the century if Farouq ever pays up to a meager 5 percent to the Igbo or any other ethnic group at all…and, I ain’t bullshitting you one bit, meeeeeeeeen!!!!!!!
