SUNDAY-SUNDAY MEDICINE: “OCEANS (WHERE FEET MAY FAIL)” BY HILLSONG UNITED

Greetings, folks!

Today’s Praise Worship song is titled “Oceans.” And, in it’s sub-title, it tells us that our “feet may always fail us,” and we sink into the deep oceans (tribulations), except if we have faith in God and believe that only He can save us from drowning.

This melodious song by “Hillsong United“ is, obviously, about faith in God to always lift us out of inevitable difficult situations or trying moments that we MUST encounter in our journey through life.

As I walk through life, “the great unknown where feet may fail and there I find You (God) in the mystery of oceans deep, my faith will stand,” says one stanza.

And, as long as I have faith, it says, “I will call upon Your name and keep my eyes above the waves when oceans (problems) rise, my soul will rest in your embrace, for I am Yours, and You are mine.”

Then, it talks about God’s grace, which “abounds in deepest waters,” and His sovereign hand “will be my guide where my feet may fail, and fear surrounds me.”

And, very importantly, it says that God “never failed,” and He “won’t start now.”

As always, I remind the miracle-hunting Pentecostal Christians of these days, that this song does not say that pastors have never failed; no, sir/ma’am! And, it doesn’t say that my faith is in pastors; no, sir/ma’am!!! It says that God has never failed before, and He won’t start now, as long as our faith remains in Him, meeeen!!!

However, please, don’t get me wrong; I have never said, and will never say that TRUE pastors (Imams, etc), or generally, TRUE ministers of God are irrelevant; no, sir/ma’am!!! All I say is that there are too many fake ministers of god these days, who were not called, nor anointed by God. And, they are CROOKS (especially Christian ministers), who are in it to make money by brainwashing you with fake miracles and twisted scripture, to give them your money so that they can live their flamboyant lifestyles that make a mockery of the Christ that they are supposed to emulate his humility and immaterialism, as they feed you with hope for miracles that will never come.

And, finally, any true pastor must tell you that your faith must not be in him or her, but in God Almighty. He or she must tell you that you may pray from today “till they kingdom come,” but will never receive that grace or miracle of God that you are hunting, except you worship God in truth, in faith, and with love for thy fellow human as you love thy self. All these mean that you should be Godly in your behaviors, and not by mouth, especially to help thy fellow humans who are in need when you can afford to do so, which is the right way to pay your tithe (or zakat in Islam), and definitely not by giving your money to crooks who are stealing God’s tithe in the name of Christ, meeeeeeen!!!

A true pastor MUST also tell you that he or she is ONLY YOUR GUIDE to worship God correctly; he/she must not make you to worship him, as TOO MANY Pentecostal Christians do these days.
