Ex-U-20 star: Potter is the best coach

Alhaji Gero, a former Flying Eagles striker, congratulated Graham Potter on being named the next manager of Chelsea.

Graham Potter left Brighton to take over at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea’s new manager on Thursday, replacing the fired Thomas Tuchel.
Potter and the Premier League team, who hailed his “modern football and imaginative teaching,” agreed to a five-year contract.

Potter managed the Swedish team Osterstund for two seasons during the striker’s time there. Potter led Osterstund from the fourth tier to a Europa League victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, and Hero was a key player in the victory.

In his two seasons at the Swedish club, Gero scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists, which was his best performance for any manager in his career.
The 28-year-old forward praised Potter on his Instagram page.

“Congratulations to the best coach in the world,” he added. I’m wishing you luck at Chelsea.
Potter succeeds Thomas Tuchel, who coached the team for two seasons before being fired after a shaky start that culminated in a 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
